Dennie’s getting old??

34! Do I sound like your mom when I say “how did that happen?” Really though, when did you and I get so old? I still picture you 29 and I 27. Not a day older.

I feel so bad this blog is two months late but hey last time we were late we had a baby so I say better late than never. (Im giggling over here)

This year we barely caught you on your birthday, you’ve been so busy with work. We had to use our time wisely. You were slightly bummed to find out we shared your birthday with two kids. One big bash. But it was worth it. We really enjoyed the company. You enjoyed the company.

What a great year you’ve had. You’ve been able to work, keep food on the table, pay bills, play, take trips, watch the kids grow and best of all, love me. What more could you ask for? Aside from all the crap you want and accumulate. Ok I’m kidding (not really you have to many shoes)!!!! Truly though I couldn’t be more grateful to you. Your time is so valued. Your heart is so loved. You are our constant!

There are so many things you did this last year. You took the kids fishing. You took each kid on ‘one on one’ dates. You made it to every birthday. You watched the kids games. You held your children. You held me. You protected us. You over came challenges. You supported your mom in ways you never thought. You worked your ass off. You switched over to the MP unit. You went above and beyond all expectations of a husband, father, friend, brother and son. You are someone to be proud of. Again, do I sound like your mother?

I love you, Ross. Happy 34th Birthday!! Cheers to another beautiful year ahead. Make this one count.
