Dennie!

       Happiest Birthday Dennie Lee. Looking back at the last 12 years we've been together I have seen you accomplish so much. You have learned new skills. You've learned who is always right. You've become an incredible father.... one that never runs out of energy when it comes to the kids (I wanna be like you). You have become a man our daughter can look up to. A man our kids can be proud of. I am incredibly proud of you. 12 years ago you were a completely different man. You can thank me when you get home ;)
         This year has been a busy one for you. You're working in Wyoming still. No complaints yet. It's far better than Oklahoma. Your training for a supervisor position which means TWO WEEKS HOME TWO WEEKS OFF!!! For the love I hope this happens by 2020 (at most). Fingers crossed. Army still steals you here and there. We still love hate it. Sergeant Gallegos is what we call you now days. I couldn't be more proud to be your wife, Gallegos. Cheers to 9 more years of army boots.
       Can you believe at age 32 you have a house, a freakin hot wonderful wife, and four amazing children? Oh lets not forget our four chickens, one momma cat and four kittens. If it isn't clear yet good things come in fours.

The roots are strong now watch us grow baby!

        On a sad note our 12 year old dog, Cadillac was put to sleep on May 8, 2019. When Dennie deployed I was in our small condo with a baby in the belly, a 11 month old girl and a toddler. I wasn't able to give Cadillac a happy home. Cadillac would run away like any other dog living with no yard. When I finally caught him I was so angry at him. So for both of our sakes our, absolutely wonderful, dog went to Dennies parents house. They were so great to take Cadillac in like they did. It was so good for him. I think Storm learned to love him more than we did.  Every time we would see Cadillac he would come up to us and love us as if he never left. My heart is broken for Storm and for Dennie. I know they loved him so much. And they will tell you otherwise but I did too. Rest In Peace Cadillac.
         The other day you mentioned that you never celebrate your Birthday on your actual Birth-Day. So for now I'm going to be watching for the full truth on this matter. Yes this year you'll be gone. But there is always next year! We are going to need to take vacation days on 5/14 for now on! I am sorry you won't be here - just know we are celebrating with you no matter where you are!
         Of course we couldn't not celebrate though! Chandra and I set up a surprise party for you and Jason. We had family and friends all invited. It was a great turn out. With the overly massive cake to you getting thrown into the pool, it was just wonderful. I hope you enjoyed it because as I recall the "I never get to celebrate my b-day" convo was during mid planning for a damn surprise. I love you Dennie Lee. I hope you had/have the best Birthday day, week, month!!
         I can't wait to see what you do for my big 30!!!! I expect great things. Just kidding. Thank you babe for all you do. For all the surprises, all the love, all of the laughs, and just for being you! Cheers to year 32! I imagine it being all you hope it to be!
