Royce is 10!!!

Royce turned ten! My practice baby. My first born. My world. He is my rock. Royce you are so hard to raise because you’re constantly teaching me something new. But I wouldn’t be half the mother I am without you. Thank you son for picking me to be your mother. You’re my favorite first born son! We celebrated two weeks ago thinking Dad wouldn’t be home but he surprised us this weekend. Royce asked for a “chill” weekend. Our chill means Black Bear diner for breakfast, movies Alpha and Christopher Robin, snow cones, parade, Gigi’s cupcakes, and lots of family fun.
Royce invited a few friends to join us at Toads fun zone. It was a huge hit, although we will never do it again. (Sorry for the negative review Toads) Afterwards we had a family party at home. Our first party in our new house! Dennie and I did a surprise room reveal for Royce. He absolutely loved it. New paint, desk, and a chair it’s all he wanted besides a new iPod which grandma Jackie and grandpa Tom gave him. He was so spoiled by friends and family. He says it was the best birthday yet! I think it’ll be hard to top. Wish us luck.
Royce has grown so much this last year. He had a few months of Fortnite obsession before Mom no longer allowed it in our home. You’ll thank me later Royce. He still likes ROBLOX. He played tackle football and learned it wasn’t for him. He did love basketball. I’m hoping he sticks with it. He’s really good at it. Royce decided he would play flag football. His first game is in two days. He’s really loving it so far. Especially sense mom is the assistant coach. (Cue super hero music). Royce also did another year of Ice Skating. He passed his class. Then Royce took advantage of his summer by laying around all day everyday. My kind of boy. His best friend is still Jonah Felton. His crush is London Thatchure. He still has an attitude when hungry or bored. He loves to mess around with his siblings and scare his mom. Dad and Royce practice flips on the trampoline every day Dad is home. Its their new thing. Royce is always the first to help, hold the door, and check up on you. He gives love and attitude all within twenty minutes. He loves to ride his bike to school which he love hates now days. He is soooo dang smart.
Royce is nailing life. He’s living each day like a kid should. And is growing up so fast. Dad and I are incredibly proud of you little dude. Set those goals high and dream big. Never quit.

I love you baby boy. Happy Birthday!!!
