Preschool 2016

How is it possible that my baby has graduated from his first year of preschool!? I can't even fathom the fact that my youngest child whom is 4 has finished a year of schooling. He has grown so much this past year. Gavin has memorized the alphabet, numbers, colors and so much more. Watching him learn has been so much fun.
I would like to say Gavin woke up everyday with  excitement to go to school. But that was not the case. 60% of the time Gavin cried and was not happy "do I have school today?? .... NOOOO!!" It was a struggle getting him there. The other 40% Gavin would wake up ready to take on the world. He would say "Mom I hope I am the leader today!!" He said that every time he had a good day. And that was Gavin's goal. To be the leader. Which makes me so proud. I hope he strives to be a leader every day he's growing and learning.
Gavin being the baby of the family, he has surprisingly taken on the world. Sure he's a momma boy to the T. But he has the sharpest memory and toughest skin (when necessary). Gavin learned his graduation line by the time we drove home from school. He memorized his phone number within a few days. And loves to sing 'Days of the week' and 'Grand ol flag'. He will also walk around the house saying the Pledge Of Allegiance.
Gavin not only takes on the world everyday but his siblings as well. I guess when you have three older siblings you need to remind them how tough you can be. Gavin will wrestle Mason and tackle Royce. He will scratch and hit any one who is giving him a hard time. And the lungs on this boy!!! Yikes!!
Gavin is also the sweetest young man. I was wearing a dress today the first thing he says to me is "Mom you are beautiful!" He is such a charmer. When we go places he is picked out pretty quick for his stunning big bright brown eyes. He has a look that could charm his way threw anything. Another reason he might be a little spoiled???
Along with learning and becoming such a big boy. Gavin has also found a middle ground as far as throwing up. I've mentioned before Gavin has food allergies. Peanuts being the worse. I'd like to update his progress by saying he is doing so much better now days! We obviously avoid peanuts and other trigger foods therefore Gavin is a happy boy! Happy kids happy life.
In short Gavin has had such a big year. We are so proud of the young man he's growing up to be. I have huge expectations this year for you Gavin. Make us proud!!
Xoxoxo
