Mason Carter

We have had the most amazing week this past week. Dennie finally came home after five weeks of working. It felt so great to not only have my partner but to watch the kids light up every morning knowing their daddy is home. And as usual we packed our week full of adventures. We were able to experience our first Hockey game. Utah Grizzlies vs. Alaska Ace. All of the kids thought it was so cool. Each kid picked out a suvenier and Dennie even caught the puck from first period! He was a hero in the kids' eyes. After a few power plays and a tie the Grizzlies won 3-2. It was an awesome night!
After the game we finally made it to the hotel. Every year we make a huge effort to stay in a hotel. It's a tradition I will never want to let go. Royce Payton Mason and Gavin think it's just so dang cool. The next morning we shopped til the kids dropped. More like til they drove us so crazy we gave up and decided it was time to go home. But truly, even though it was a very short trip it was an amazing vacation. I'm so blessed to have my little family to adventure off with!

Saturday was Masons birthday party. He wanted an army themed party.
It turned out simple and fun. And as always we had an awesome turn out. Mason got spoiled. His favorite gift were hockey gloves from dad. He even sleeps with them.
I can not believe that my little Mason is now five years old. He's old enough to start going to school this next year. It's crazy how time is flying by.
Mason has grown so much. He's learned many new things and is still very sweet. He's our little model. Always has the best smile for anyone. He does have a few problems with lying and throwing fits. But for the most part I couldn't be more proud to be his mom.
Mason loves hockey, ice skating, riding his bike and so much more. He's learning sign language and feels so proud of himself every time he practices at home. He also tries to read Paytons school books. I think he will do very well when the time comes to really excell in school. Masons best friend is Trevyn. He's doesn't like girlfriends. His favorite thing is riding on dads back. Bull riding is their favorite thing to do together. Mason gets along with almost everyone and still loves to change twice a day at least. He must match his surroundings. All in all I am so beyond proud of the little man he has grown into. {{Happy birthday my sweet boy! Mom and dad love you so much!}}

Happy fifth birthday Mason!!

Such an awesome night! Go Grizzlies!

Look who showed up at the hotel. The kids thought it was so cool!

Sleeping kids makes mom and dad so happy.

It was an awesome weekend as a family. So glad we did it.

Til next time ❤️
