Mason Mason Mason
How did it happen? How did it my beautiful young boy become so mature and old. Mason you’re 11 years old. I’m sitting here watching life go by so quick. The last few years have been pretty rough on us. We’ve had ups and downs, we’ve had adventures, we’ve had sickness, and many memories good and bad. I am currently sitting in my car watching you play baseball, again. You are in your element. You have found a love for baseball. You’ve always found a sport and put your whole heart into it. It’s admirable how much you love new things. I admire your ambitions. I only dream that you keep trying new things. You rock at every single thing you do.
Over the year you started fifth grade. You love your teacher, Mrs. Taylor. You’ve been having a hard time holding friends. But you’re never alone. You had your first “girlfriend”, KC Coleman. You and KC broke up a few times then finally decided that you’re better off friends while in elementary. I was so proud of your decision on that. You got your best friend and KC to start “dating”. You’re new crush is Kaizlee Hoth. It’s so funny, you use to like her a lot when you were much younger. Even funnier that her mom and I grew up together. You find yourself crushing on quite a few girls. It’s been cute teaching you manners and how to treat a girl the right way. I hope you find someone to love you more than I do because you’re deserving of it. Keep your standards high baby boy!
You played basketball a few months ago and LOVED it. You were practicing every day for weeks. I loved watching your games. The three throws were on point!! You scored a lot more this year. I hope you stick with basketball, you were good!!
For your 11th birthday we took your friends bowling. We all had so much fun! We all enjoyed Sparkle and Sparle for your birthday month. They had a baby!!
For Halloween you dressed up as football player, Joey Bosa from the Chargers. For the first time your dad and I took you and your siblings to Thriller. You genuinely enjoyed it. I’m so excited to start a new tradition
While I was on a mommy trip, your dad took you kids to Hogal Zoo that last time we went was nine years ago! Each of you loved it, which brings me joy. I appreciate the little kid moments. I hate that you’re growing up!!
Back in September you were riding your dirt bike with shorts and burned your leg BAD!! You might still have a scare on your right calf. Riding has been fun for you this year. You’re riding a 65 now and doing really good!
For Mother’s Day I was spoiled by you all. You made pancakes, bacon and eggs for me and your siblings. Cooking has been a really fun hobby that you also love to do. You’re good at it. Your wife will thank me one day!
I took Grandma Jackie and you kids to Uncle Tyler’s work, in Wyoming. At the time we worked for Big Sandy Lodge. The only thing you wanted to do was ride a horse. You HAD to have the hat, boots, and pants for it! I remember when you were a small boy, you always had to dress according. It’s adorable that you still do it!
You were brave at lagoon last summer. Trying new rides, your favorite was the white roller coaster.
You caught your first fish!!!
Mason you’ve had so many good memories being 10! I have loved watching you grow up. I pray everyday that you live life to the fullest every single day. I hope you dream and dream big! Never give up on yourself because as I tell you everyday you’re going to be rich. You’ll be the one at the top, I promise!
I love you Son ALWAYS
XOXO MOMMA
